As a Senior Platform Engineer, your focus will be on constructing and maintaining our hybrid data platforms, leveraging your expertise to create efficient data and machine learning pipelines.
Our platforms span both on-premises and cloud environments, so it’s essential that you enjoy working with SRE in a Linux environment—bonus points if you prefer the terminal.
We believe that DevOps and software engineering practices are the foundation for delivering ML & AI to production, enabling our branch offices to utilise the insights and models we create.
You will work closely with Data and ML engineers to ensure we have the best data platforms possible.
We work closely with our data scientists who primarily focus on identifying use cases and business optimisations.
We are looking for an experienced platform engineer who thr[i]ves in all parts of the ML delivery chain—from sourcing, transforming, and processing data to operationalising and improving models, and engaging with stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer eager to work hands-on, enhancing platforms to expand in CI/CD and ML pipelining.
Kompetens:
Hold a master’s degree or equivalent in a technical field with strong academic results.
Possess excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy tackling challenges with code.
Have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Data/DevOps/ML Engineer.
Demonstrate extensive experience in software development with a deep understanding of system design.
Skilled in working with data and building data pipelines, including data modeling, orchestration, and validation using tools like d[b]t, Prefect, and Spark.
Proficient in Python and SQL.
Experienced in containerised development within a Linux environment.
Familiar with test-driven development practices.
Have experience deploying ML models in production and MLOps.
Worked with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
