Back to the assignment listWe are now looking for an IT System Engineer to a banking client.
Background:
As a member of a highly skilled team of architects and experts, you will participate in defining, managing and driving the platform architecture for the clients new Nordic wide Core Banking Platform. Proactively collaborate with stakeholders on value driven strategy, driving the vision for, the creation of and the delivery of the platform and infrastructure for the clients Core Banking Platform and its related system stacks.
You will be contributing to defining and maintaining the technical architecture and help prepare the roadmap for the next PIs for the Technology and Infrastructure team within the Core Banking Program.
You will proactively develop, guide and govern infrastructure platform standards, principles and best practices to better achieve organizational value objectives.
What you will do:
• Contribute to documenting the required Information Systems and Platform Enabler Capabilities and problem spaces
• Contribute to core documents (SDD, TRRD)
• Keep track of the latest developments and best practices within relevant IT solution and infrastructure technology capabilities and constantly ensuring professional development
• Identify possibilities for evolving the architecture to deliver reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, improved agility, reduced risk or improved business capabilities
• Lead and participate in IT systems and IT infrastructure designs, following the client"s architecture governance
• Contribute to developing and maintaining architecture roadmaps for Core Banking Technology and Infrastructure
• Work with Product Management and Release Train Engineers to initiate and drive delivery of technology solutions
• Proactively guide, implement and govern architectural principles, best practices and common change initiatives in own area to secure high quality in IT solutions
• Participate in frequent reviews on IT solutions against value driven IT strategy
• Define, track and manage Non-Functional requirements throughout the delivery cycle
• Coach and assist developers, platform teams, ops teams and Infrastructure teams on best practices and key knowledge areas like:
• Non Functional Requirements
• Site Reliability Engineering
• Monitoring and Root Cause identification
• Technology best practices
Skills:
• Proven stakeholder management experience in IT technology domain
• Strong banking background, with Core banking transformation experience preferred
• Business knowledge (Professional level)
• IT solution architecture (Professional level)
• IT infrastructure and technical architecture (Professional level)
• Conceptual thinking (Professional level)
