We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical QA Engineer to join our IT Analytics team. The Client is undergoing a multi-year global business transformation, consolidating processes into SAP S/4HANA and unifying enterprise data within our Databricks platform. A key focus will be the development of standardized global dashboards and reports in Power BI.
The QA Engineer will focus on working with the project team on validating data in Power BI against source systems (SAP S/4HANA, Databricks, legacy ERP, and applications) and ensuring the acc[u]racy, consistency, and reliability of reports. Additionally, the role is responsible for creating, managing, and executing System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation in Azure DevOps, as well as tracking and resolving defects with the project technical team.
Responsibilities:
Validate Power BI dashboards and reports against SAP S/4HANA, Databricks, and other relevant data sources to ensure alignment with business requirements, metric definitions, and calculations.
Develop, maintain, and execute SIT and UAT test plans and results in Azure DevOps.
Log, track, and manage defects in Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
Collaborate with technical teams to clarify issues, verify fixes, and confirm acceptance criteria are met.
Maintain clear and detailed testing documentation, including test results, sign-offs, and issue logs.
Support the enhancement of QA processes and ensure best practices are followed.
Requirements:
Proven QA or testing experience, preferably within analytics/reporting or ERP-related projects.
Familiarity with ERP processes; SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.
Proficiency in Power BI data validation techniques.
Strong experience using Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to delivering acc[u]rate, reliable results.
