Key responsibilities
· Develop and support data pipelines on Bank’s new AWS-based Data Platform.
· Transform designs and requirements into efficient, easily maintainable, and reusable code.
· Automate as much as possible, from CI/CD pipelines to testing and to data quality.
· Collaborate with, help, and support team members and other stakeholders.
· Participate in the Solution Design process.
· As we strive to work according to DevOps practices, you will share the responsibility with the rest of the team for making sure that our solutions are developed, tested, deployed and run well.
Key Qualifications
· Having a minimum of 5 years of experience working with data engineering or similar
· Experience with data technologies in AWS (e.g. S3, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, Lambda, RedShift, …)
. Has worked with Datalake and Datamarts development in cloud
· Experienced in the understanding of data in its business context, and able to translate this to technical requirements and specifications towards other developers and peers.
. Ability to independently develop and maintain data pipelines
· Being structured and analytical and can conceptualize complex technical issues
· Experience and knowledge of agile frameworks, preferably SAFe
· Experience in the banking industry is an advantage.
· Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
